Session Tips Continued

Children's Portraits

Just like babies, young children are happiest when we don't mess with naptime. Young children are much more cooperative when well rested and fed.

Family Portraits

Probably one of the most important elements of a great Family Portrait, besides getting everyone together at the same time with happy faces, is to make sure you all coordinate. Picture this, mom in polka dots, dad in bold stripes, and junior in plaid; not a pretty picture! I know, I know, extreme example, but you get the idea. Please consider carefully what the other family members will be wearing and try to wear colors that work well together.

Senior Portraits

Senior portrait sessions include three poses. One casual pose with your choice of dress, one drape or suit pose for the yearbook, and one cap and gown pose, which also may be a yearbook photo depending on your school. Guys, clean shaven is usually best for Senior Portraits. Ladies remember your make-up, hair spray, and brush for freshening up between poses. Make sure to rest well the night before and don't worry about that new pimple that just appeared, your yearbook pick will be touched up for you free of charge. If you need a print to deliver to school for inclusion in the yearbook, your choice will be provided to you as a print. If your school prefers your image on a disc, we will see that the school gets your disc on time, assuming you book prior to the deadline.
